hippo X: A Tale of 10 Years

Ten is a monumental number.

Whether it’s a kid’s tenth birthday, a couple commemorating a decade of togetherness, or the final countdown on New Year’s Eve, it’s a number that feels instinctively worthy of celebration.

Here at hippo, we’re excited to be celebrating the tenth anniversary of our inception. As the dedicated healthcare division of MBB Agency, our roots go back 35 years, working with hospitals and healthcare systems across the country. But the foresight of our agency’s leadership 10 years ago to create a unit whose sole purpose is to focus on solving healthcare challenges using consumer practices was certainly prescient to the modern reality of the industry.

We’ve had many successes and learnings along the way. Awards have been won (like our recent 2017 Web Awards win for Best Health Care Website), innovations have been made, webinars and seminars have been put on, results have been delivered, and relationships have been forged.

It goes without saying that we wouldn’t be who we are or where we are without all the clients we’ve partnered with (past and present), vendors we’ve worked with, and the team members who have bled hippo green the past 10 years.

And while this milestone serves as a reminder of the road we’ve traveled, it also serves as an inflection point. A springboard forward, you might say. So as we continue to make an impact with our clients, the industry, and the communities we serve as trusted healthcare marketing consultants, we look forward to the challenges that lie ahead, the people we have yet to meet, and the stories we have yet to tell.
