CHI Health was created in 2014 when Alegent Creighton Health merged with CHI Nebraska to form a single system. Naturally, there were a lot of questions and concerns, not only from the communities each system served, but also from internal caregivers and staff.
To introduce the new system to the region, CHI Health launched a new mass media campaign. Just nine days into the new campaign, however, disaster struck – CHI Health went out-of-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield. The campaign was immediately pulled while CHI Health negotiated with BCBS.
In 2016, after the insurance issue was resolved, CHI Health invited hippo to help them right a damaged public perception. Working closely with the CHI Health marketing team, we created a new system-wide brand campaign called “Imagine That,” which recast the system as a forward-thinking innovator that helps people live healthier, happier lives.
