CHI Health came to hippo with the challenge of increasing awareness of the cancer center services CHI Health St. Frances offered in Grand Island, NE and rural outlying areas. Specifically, the client was looking to inform the community that patients at CHI Health St. Francis receive highly specialized cancer care without needing to travel far away from home.
Working with partner media agencies, hippo developed creative executions to support a media plan that incorporated print, outdoor, radio, paid search, display, Pandora, and Facebook. The media plan included Grand Island and the surrounding rural communities, including Hastings, York, Ord, Superior, Broken Bow, Albion, Henderson, and Aurora.
The campaign sought to reach people in the identified communities who may or may not be aware of or use the CHI Health services, but who would be comforted to know there is excellent cancer care close to home. The goal was to increase the number of cases seen at CHI Health St. Francis, and to become top of mind as the preferred provider for cancer treatment.
The creative for the campaign featured imagery of rural communities and used the copy “Cancer doesn’t care who it impacts. We do.” It was impactful and succinct and drove to the CHI Health St. Francis cancer site, which the success of the campaign was measured upon.
